This citrus plant has the scientific name Triphasia trifolia DC and Triphasia trifolia Lour. In addition, this type of plant also has a common name or traditional name that is quite diverse. In the world region, in England this citrus plant is usually called Limeberry, while in Thailand it is called limonsito and in Indonesia it is called kingkit orange. The orange which is usually called Chinese New Year orange is a relative of the orange (genus Citrus), but this orange is not a real orange. This Kingkit orange tree actually comes from Malesia but is spread to the islands in the Pacific Ocean.
